The Turf Game in the stadium at North will take place next Tuesday. Thats Tuesday, May 15. We will not hold practice afterschool at Kendall Park that day. Everybody from both the A and B Teams needs to be there by 5:30pm for warmups. The B Team will play first, against Waubonsie Valley High School at 6:00pm. That game will last for 80 minutes. There will then be a 10 minute intermission before the A Team plays Naperville Central High School starting at 7:30 and lasting another 80 minutes. B Team will be there for the A game and A Team will be there for the B game. It is a gameday so wear your jerseys to school that day.

We will have someone from B Team be announcer and scoreboard handler during the A game and vice versa. If for some reason you can't make it -- please let me know.

This is a game for the fans, so get everyone you know to come out! Make sure you get your parents to save the date, and if any of you have any Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Siblings, Cousins, Girlfriends (or in Rachel's case boyfriend) in the area.... get them all to put this on their calendar and come to the game! We want to get as many people as possible seeing as how we only get the turf once. Admission is free -- so get all your friends and classmates to come as well.

We also need help promoting the game. I have created a flier to post up around the school.

I need everybody to right click the image and save as to your desktop. Then right click the saved file and print off 10-20 copies (B&W and Color both work, but preferably Color). Go ahead and start posting fliers around the school. If you need tape then meet me in the Small Cafe under the big mural after 4th, after 5th or after 6th. The sooner we get these out the better! If we get everyone to participate with just 10-20 fliers we will have a huge presence!

I am adding a Sunday practice for tomorrow from 2:00pm-3:30pm. We will scrimmage and Diesel will be there to work with people individually. Great games today from both teams!! A Team almost upset Neuqua A and B Team almost upset Jacobs!!

Tomorrow is the Lip Dub Assembly. Please wear your jerseys to school again. I will bring the DB and we will meet after 6th period at court 2 in the field house. Seniors will spin/hold discs, everyone else will cheer as the camera goes by.

Just wanted to take a moment to comment on what a great practice we had today -- hard work does not go unnoticed. We may also have an oppurtunity in the future to play some of the B guys up if they keep up the impressive play. I'd like to keep the momentum going into our games tomorrow. On that note don't forget jerseys and car keys tomorrow and meet ASAP in the center of the small large cafe.

A Team is playing Marist on Field 5, then has a bye. 

B Team plays Wheaton-Warrenville South B on Field 9 then plays Neuqua Valley E on Field 7. Also don't forget to give an apology to Blueberry before you begin Rizzi B Team. 

One final reminder -- keep bugging teammates who you have classes with to show up to practice. If it wasn't for central randomly showing up we would be very short on guys right now. If you are reading this Anthony, Kyle, Mackenzie, George, Stefan, Will or Chris, we have enough missing guys to make a whole team.
